questions on coil tap, wilkinson trem and pickups

hi folks, need some advise on the following:

1. where are the places to buy wilkinson trems?

2. what pickup config do u recommend for a strat with s/s/s config? i require stacked humbuckers with coil tap installed for the ultimate versatility (humbucker metal crunch and single coil twang). i'm thinking either 3 hotrails or hotrails/hotrails/jb jr or lil 59/hotrails/jb jr. how about quarter pounders and normally where do they fit in the s/s/s?

3. pickup installation and installation of coil tap and wilkinson trem done together, where would u guys recommend i do it at? i'm thinking davis since they are the sellers of seymour duncan pickups anyway so may as well do everything there 1 shot. but do they go fitting of trems, coil tap and how's the quality of their work, and how long do they take? or is there any other place where u recommend them for their quality of work?

4. can i have an estimate of how much is the total cost of all the above?

U can get wilkinson trems at standard value. I have it as well as the wilkinson ez lok tuners on my Squier Standard Strat. U might wanna consider Duncan`s Everything Axe™ Set - it combines an SJBJ-1b JB Jr. for the bridge position with an SDBR-1n Duckbucker and SL59-1n Little '59 for the middle and neck positions. I saw it sold at Davis.

U might also wana consider GFS humbucker sized single coil pickups..these can be found on Ebay..n looking at the prices, they are really value for money.. OR b4 u consider swapping pickups, u can also try custom pickup wiring whereby the bridge combines with the middle or neck pu in series, creating a hot sound similar to tat of a humbucker..

wow.. tts very informative, thanks for the info man! btw u have tesla palma pickups rite? are those stacked humbuckers as well?

woo.. i'm gonna go read reviews of the duckbucker and quarter pounders.. or maybe i'll just wire the mid and bridge single coils so they'll run together in series as a "humbucker"

van_halen: I used to have Tesla Plasmas in my old Fender Strat, which I dont have anymore...those pickups are not stacked humbuckers though..Tesla has yet to come up with those designs...
