There is a rumor that 25th anniversary SE custom 24 will come with birds

I like the 25th anniversary custom 24 but there are mix reports of 57/08 pickups, some say its very vintage sound.

nothing, some people like modern high outputs with clarity

Actually, the top MIGHT change... depending on the stock he has by the time my build starts...:twisted:

I think you have to see it in context really, the 57/08 are like the best pickups you can probably get stock on a PRS.

The stock HFS/Vintage pickups that come with the CU24, if you took them out and put in any/most sets of Bareknuckles, phoahhh... a bit the cannot compare.. Sorry total Bareknuckle head here! lol.. and the range of pickups they make, really does cater to vast range of tastes and preferences.

Haha...same here. All my guitars die die must have the following...(i) Bare Knuckles pickups, (ii) RS pots and caps. Over the years, I've tried other booteek pickups from the US, but I always end up coming back to Bare Knuckles. Now I just stick to this brand. I guess Tim's wounding work appeals to my ears.
