Project Guitar Appreciation

had been trying to sell off this tele copy for awhile, but decided to keep and mod it after some advice from a fellow softie cum modder, for those who had enquire b4 on my sale, the guitar wood is basswood and not plywood as some says... routing had been done for a hum @ the bridge. other changes are the neck, knobs, bridge...

at some angles, the finish is greenish grey...

after routing, can its orig. single coil pup still be fitted back?
its a beautiful tele copy, would be nice to have ol' wilkinson 3saddle brass

nice sexy looking tele...
hmmm i wonder how can one tell just by looking at it its a plywood ..hehe ...xray eyes ???
Ciki, i think if its string tru ...it would be more delicious,
i got a moses tele graphite neck ...think if its fixed on your tele shld be superb :)
haha ...
nothing with the neck you got there but if its stain to darker colour like the body it would be triple awesome ..
yummy

xlayer ..just be sure the neck scale and neck pocket sizes ..
if its strat i think standard ...
for gd bodies and neck i recommend musikkraft or on ebay jamerson guitars ..
i got one of their flame maple / partial birds eye and its a killer ...it looks something like chanmin`s ...hehe

80s blazer?

Heh, imho, overhaul the pots and stuff, re setup, fret dress/refret(if necessary), that thing will be a workhorse!

Dont have to do anything much to the exterior, it has its own flavour and the aging/used look is one thing which money cant buy. Its "reliced" in it own sense thru the years and usage without spending money(huge chunk) to purposely buy one beat up looking geetar that make ya feel good

And if wanna zhng the pickup, either change pickup to what you wanna. If not, stick with stock pickup, throw in extra mods for more pickup combination(out of phase, series connection etc) using push pull pots for both volume and tone(one for out of phase and the other for series connection when you activate the push pull pot).

The above should make the geetar a joy to play with, retaining the same look(without drilling holes to pull in toggle switches for the out of phase and series mod) and enhanced playbility.

the instrument will stand out by itself without all the fancy add ons(which imho, is redundant on an instrument like this)

graphic design major hahaha
