Program that can do minus 1

Hi.. anyone knows a free program that can edit a mp3 to minus 1? means orignal has both music and vocal.. but i wanna take out the vocal part... thanks for ya help...

sadly there's no program that can do that. if you want the instrumental version you can find it online or if the record label themselves release it on the single. if there were such a program it'll be instantly popular. everyone would want one..makes hip-hop sampling so much easier.

There are various software that can reduce vocals. But to remove them entirely, it's going to take a quantum leap in technology.

Some hardware, like the new Roland's audiokey function, minimizes the vocals in real-time pretty well.

If you do a google search, you'll find quite a number of software that does vocal reduction. But don't expect 100% removal. Also, reducing vocals may also affect the rest of the audio tracks.
