pre enlistment checkup

I'm a Pes C2 L2-er here. Tore my ACL and MCL, recently strained my meniscus. LOL.

The difference between C2 and C9 is that C2 is modified IPPT and not fully excused IPPT. For my case, I'll just do cycling (instead of running) and other stuff that are not strenuous for my knee, like pull-ups and whatnots.

leecs: Brilliant!

C2-L2er here too, I thought C2 means no IPPT unless if you're a regular, it says so on the back on my paper thingy.

It's amazing how much the story of Army can get people (despite of your race/status/occupation and what have u not) and come together and have a good talk about individual experiences and most of the time, a good laugh and break down barriers among people.
As for siam-ing army, altho i agree that it is a total waste of time, however, being contradictory, I believe that it is actually good for guys to enter the army as it most of the time, changes one's point of view and it marks a turning point of your life. Life will not be the same again and in some sense, it is seriously leaving your boyhood behind and step into manhood. I mean, look at it this way, before entering the army..life was just.. school, projects/homework, hang out, party, play, jam (u get the idea) than lifes goes back being the same again the next day. When the time comes when u are heading out of the army, life changes completely. No more auto planning (primary to secondary to poly/jc), U have to start make your own choices (furthering studies, looking for ways of survival) and start managing your own time (which i would seriously credit the army for teaching, rush to wait and wait to rush has kinda taught me to take time seriously as a person) and kinda put you on the head start in the working world.
One word of advise for people who are entering the army, start planning on what you want to do after the army. Dun waste anymore time thinking that you are wasting the government's time (which actually you are), but instead, use the government's time to your advantage and put yourself ahead of others.
I better stop here, this is getting too lengthy. lol, and I agree with someone earlier, despite we love or hate the army.. we do sometimes miss some of the experiences we had while serving.

Good luck to those who are entering the army >.<

Eh. Is it? I ain't too sure, have always had the impression that it was modified IPPT, not fully excused. Ah heck, no IPPT's all the better for me.

You tore your ACL and MCL as well right? When are you going in? Sept?

i assume you POP ready is it thats why can slack and book out everyday? hahaha im like a C9L2! still can hold gun =D

mattalsac how did u end up with such a job in NS? lol im pes B but i heard its just as tough as pes A. Im going in this thursday..

Just luck la. My friend Pes A also become armskote man and some people even went into airforce play basket ball everyday than go home.
(not meaning to be sacastic) but, most of the pre-enlistees have the preconception that army is like 24/7 BMT, everyday nothing but training but the case is very different once you enter your unit (well, if u get into infantry... I presume u still dun train 24/7).
A few advice for u to be able to pass time faster (mentally), Count your time in terms of Lunch, Dinner, Bed time or Bookout day/weekend.

Good luck MichaelAngelo. Hope u get a good posting when u get out of bmt. Try not to screw up your sit test (is that how u spell it?) or cheong too much in it either unless u really really really really really x100 wanna be an officer or sergeant.
