Dear Softies,

Please do not ask "Does XXX shop do this" questions on the forum. I delibrately posted this on the Gear - Guitar section because that's where most of these questions originate.

Reason
i don't represent these shops nor gain any commission from them, and i would not guarantee anything besides what is their "normal policy" judging from previous practices. neither do any of the other softies, lest the official shop personnel/forummers. (sweelee obviously one of them, they have a subsection devoted to that.)

it's not fair to misrepresent them, especially if they would like to change their policies over time to fit business practices.

Recommendations
Most of the bigger shops have online presence, as well as their contact numbers and address on their websites. Call them, or go down and ask them. That way you get the most accurate information you would be able to.

I hope mods can Sticky this for say 1 or 2 months, then maybe let it go after that.

1. Most shops do have phone numbers.
2. The problem lies when one misrepresents on behalf of the shop.
