I normally use 1.14 tortex (purple) and 1.00 tiki picks. Want to try the v pick when chinese new year ends though.

After going through countless plastic picks, V-Picks, Wegen Picks I've found my end all be all pick (for now at least hehe)!

These are stone picks, made of semi precious gems like Agate, Amber, Moss, Quartz. The feel and tonal properties just do it for me. Being aesthetically appealing is a huge plus point as well!

moss really sound appealing and hygenic

Aye, you can sometimes get Amber (Moss) picks with little bugs and moths trapped in them! Only if you're really lucky though!

I stopped playing guitar around 9 years ago but just picked it up again recently and have been using Dunlop Tortex .50mm that I bought more than 9years ago I guess. I like the tortex ones cos they last longer even my aluminium pick (the one that has 3 holes, from Dunlop too I think) got filed down and became blunt after a while...

I dun mean to digress from this thread but does anyone know where to buy these Dunlop Tortex ? I can't remember where I bought them from more than 9 years ago... Would appreciate any updates

Cheers

Dude! We got the same guitar!!!!!!

Oh I don't play lead don't know how to solo anyway so .50mm suits me fine so far... heheh Thanks for the info!!

BGW guitars is a very friendly place, with Brendon corresponding my emails quite smoothly, and V-Picks which is something phenomenal to be found here in Singapore is retailed quite nicely, now i'm waiting for CNY to end so that i can actually place my order for the picks,as i'm gonna use bank transfer as payment.

rather smooth i might say. i was hoping to try dava picks..but oh well.
otherwise currently i like to use that purple dunlop tortex pick but i gave that away and then im using some random jim dunlop yellow transparent pick i got at swee lee.

ill see how good the v picks are when i get them
;o

i use jim dunlop .94 mm nylons. not too stiff, not too soft. feels great for both lead and rhythm.
and i freaking love them hahaha
