i might be the very few who dislike quilted/ flamed top...

aye, i know the feeling. i owned a prs custom 24 before and it felt like owning a piece of furniture. i sold it to get my current tweed bandmaster 5e7.

i would have kept it if i was in a top 40 rock band or something.

count me in.not really a fan of quilted top especially when its on a custom.but on a standard its okay then.
Heehee...but that's one of the reason I got that Gibby. It's a 4A flame burst and one of the "rare" colours for a LP Custom. The usual LP Custom colours are the black beauty, alpine white and wine red. Aesthetic aside, this Gibby plays and sounds quite wonderful. :)

bored.

Maybe they're 2nd grade tops? Maybe all those nice tops they sell in states, Europe, whereas the not so nice, they sell here?

I guess maybe we are just lousy photographers.... LOL! Went to Canada last year and checked out their PRS, and they are the same and costs more than what they sell at Davis.
