Hey Thor. Ur Guitar arrived! Mine has been out shipped.Should be here in like 2-6 days time. Bad comestics? Was it stated by the seller in his description of the guitar when he was selling it? Did you know this was coming?
Man...I hope my guitar ain't that bad. A discontinued Rg220b. From the picture it looks brand new though.

poon - yep the fretboard feels a little wide. there's a very flat curve towards the headstock which makes it surprisingly quite comfortable to play on the first few frets. i got it for 400SGD with shipping and insurance included.
WiZaRd - it arrived exactly 10 days later. one deliveryman just pops up at my doorstep with a rectangular box... i was pretty surprised... lol

i suppose condition is always in the eyes of the beholder. u can look at the "Ebay anyone" posting to see the major cosmetic stuff.
i'm not too fussy about the looks though so no compaints.

10 dayss..Oh my..thats the longest time taken. I can't wait for mine. I'll post my pics up also. He quoted me 4-10 days.Paid SGD 340 inclusive of shipping and insurance. He even told me he wrapped the pieces in 3 different bags, Neck & body & Bag containing screws whammy etc. All that into the box wit foam peanuts.
MAN! I'm excited!! Can't waittttttttt....

i prefer maple fretboard for fenders, it makes the single coil top end more pronounced 8) i have a maple necked Ibanez too, i just love the bright neck pickup tone. the rest of my guitar have rosewood fretboards...

the Custom Shop pickups are the Vintage '54 model in the Am Series version. i disliked the middle version, got it replaced with a '57/ 62 model which sings better IMO... 8)
