i know some do not include their genres, irritating. anyway.

what pedalS would you guys recommend? i play genres like Hardcore, Post-hardcore, Screamo, Emo, Rock. somewhere along that line.

bands like Silverstein, Hawthorne Heights, Funeral For A Friend. any bands along this line to introduce?

i specifically need some recommendations for Overdrive and Distortion. just chuck me with the models and all i'll go try it out. :D compressors, tuners, eq, delays, flanger, phaser whatever there is in the world that's suitable to my genres and play style. those fun pedals and all. mind the price please cause im not exactly rich. ahaha.

pedals i currently own are : Artec Analog Delay, Boss DS-2, Boss CE-5.

pedals im considering to get : Landmine(DS), Digitech Bad Monkey(OD), Artec 8band EQ(EQ)

if possible do let me know what better replacements are there.

to sum it up, i need recommendations for pedals, and also better replacement to what i owe or going to buy.

im currently playing a Epip SG G-400 Deluxe through a Marshall AVT20 and a POSSIBLE Blackheart B5BH Combo.

any additional info im missing out to help you guys / me? wanna fill up my pedalboard with useful pedals

Just to add to your list. Hawthorne Heights is on the softer side.

Most the stated bands use high gain amp aye !!
How??

F'more its not really about how much distortion but more to volume and intensity.

Funeral For A Friend on Tour With Blackstar! -December 2007
Wales' finest rock quintet, Funeral For A Friend completed their sold out UK tour at the end of 2007. Blackstar caught the band in rehearsals for the tour and delivered two Artisan 30 combos and some 4x12 Blackstar cabinets. The decision was instant, out with the old combos and in with the Artisans for all the clean sounds. The award winning Artisans sounded awesome in Darran and Kris’s rigs and are now a permanent fixture in the band's backline.

ahaha oh oh right forgot to mention those 4 bands down. yes i listen to them, thanks for the reminder. may we find pedals together. gahaha.

hmmm. higain. goose(so i saw that is how they address you), how can i get the seventheaven? price as well? do pm me if you dont want to disclose the information, thanks softies!

As what goose said, I strongly recomend a tube amp rather than pedals. If i wan pedals, I'll get a OD like SD1, TS9 to kick in more of the distortion in the amp.

But on the other side, Some people may not have $$$ to buy tube amps. then you'll probably keep buying & selling your pedals. Thats my experience.

I agree with leecs. Most of the bands mentioned use tube amps and use an OD to kick in the amps but I don't know what amps or OD they use. :D

I know that Silverstein's guitarist both use Mesa Boogie, Stiletto Ace, if I'm not wrong.

Btw, jadedmem, do you listen to Killswitch Engage?. Adam D is using a H&K Triamp + a TS808.

Google for it. Im sure theres loads of info there. If you guys really want the tone of your fav guitarists, get the real thing.

yea thanks guys for the info. meh mesa boogie, gotta have to save then... yes i listen to KSE. :D

well actually yes, im thinking of selling my avt20. then get myself a 5watter blackheart tube amp. or even a valve jr. then work on my pedals. gotta start somewhere yes? aha

thanks again for the tremendous help guys.

oh, should i keep my dd3? and please call me jade to save the hassle.

no way man. im just 17. can't afford that. besides i think my apartment will just boom down. >.>

i'll start with a 5watter first lol!
