thanks for the help man! so basically i need to find a maxon OD9 as you speak highly of it, im interested in the seventhheaven too, but now i need to know, regarding power supply, what do i need?
i play alot of symphony x,trivium, iron maiden, black sabbath, metallica and children of bodom
actually i play alot of stuff like gnr led zep acdc x japan etc
u should go try greg's od9. his is analogman modded. i like very much.
the unknown: the 10band eq uses 18v thats why i stayed away from it. if u think the red led slidders are cool forget abt it. stick with the ge-7
haha ow man the last time i saw him was when we were primary3! alot of catching up to do LOL
people planning to buy TS-9 ought to read mr. Subversions' review on the pedal, which pretty much clear any misunderstanding and wrong expectation of the pedal.
having said that, i still think that TS-9 is one hell of a pedal! yea, the ibanez one.
a big fan here, and strongly recommend it! but you gotta have another pedal, can be another OD or a distortion to make it really scream.
and of course, as the name suggest, it is best used to make those warm and glowing tube scream!
as for delays, mxr carbon copy (analog) boss dd6 (digital) what is the main difference and which do you guys prefer?
so i suppose a VS 1-Spot with MC5/MC8 (Guitar77) or T-Rex Fuel Tank Jr (Davis Guitar) can solve all my power issues?
also what are good choruses and what should i look out for?
the nasi lemak ads are damn irritating.
Wow, lots of vintagey pricey recommends here for someone starting into the stompbox world!
But then again, they are being recommended for a reason, quality. There are literally tons of other cheaper options that serve quite similar purpose to some of the pedals being recommended but every posts on here IMO has served its purpose, and should be a rough guide to what you should be looking for..
