Pedals/1Spot problem

Hi all

Been powering my pedals using the 1spot adapter with no problems. Then I got hold of a new EQ pedal. Added to the usual connections but theres no sound at all. I checked the polarity of this EQ pedal and found out it is a reverse polarity. Is there anyway I can re-reverse the polarity according to 1spot polarity?

Appreciate ur help..thanks..

there's a converter for the one spot. can get it at any shop that sells the one spot. its usually around 5bucks i think

Ok i just got the polarity converter and tried it out by putting it into the eq pedal tat has the reverse polarity but it still doesnt work...:(

The pedal works fine when I use it alone with battery...

Am I doin anything wrong here?

isolate all the rest of the pedals first, use the reverse polarity adapter directly on one spot without the daisy chain. Plug into the eq pedal and try

one spot-->reverse polarity-->eq pedal.

if works, that cud mean nothing wrong except it dont like to share power supply. Need to have its own.

it shud work with the reverse polarity adapter thou. So far on pedals with center +, i find the only picky thing is that usually the pedal dont like to share a main power supply, mixing center + and the usual center - pedals that is. There be hiss or squealing sound.

bring it back to where you got it from and check with them i guess

Tried again with battery, connected the cord to the input and wow, it doesnt light up anymore..this pedal is really knackered..sigh...

It must be the pedal, Ive had no trouble with the reverse polarity converters, even while sharing power supply from the same 1spot adaptor.

Id suggest you get a decent EQ pedal, boss or MXR . Good luck :D

Well... probably cos you destroyed something with the initial wrong polarity.

Time to get a new EQ pedal! buy mine! Cheep and good! LoL

But seriously... if the the pedal doesnt have any kinda built in protection at the power section, then... might have a problem here
