Pedal suggestions

The one spot can power more than 5 pedals. Just attached a daisy chain to the daisy chain thn up to 9 pedals. It can provide upto 1700mA of juice. Just check how many amps ur pedals need. Usually ods and distortions take up very little, usually less than 100mA its the delays that take up much more tts y 9Vs dun last very long in them.

Analog delays are still pretty ok. It's the digital ones that gobble batteries like nobody business.

you know... its.. well. Ugh.

Can the threadstarter just go try some pedals out then present a listing? Then you can just choose from there based on advice we can give.

Ive tried already lah...
Everything except the gt-2 and marshall echohead
and i didnt see the marshall echohead at davis.
tried the ts-9,ds-1,my friends modded mt-2 , J&h and finally a boss Ce-5

Ive settled on just build my distortion overdrive arsenal..
Not getting a chorus and delay-wise havent decided cause havent tried echohead and dd-3.
ts-9 im getting for a booster.
so ive narrowed down to..

Ds-1 , Modded mt-2 and of course the Gt-2 which i havent tried.
so ts-9 and one of the above ive got 450 bucks to spend.

Just to add interesting pedals to the mix, how abt a zendrive? mosfuratu? Ehh MI Audio Crunch Box? oooo zendrive....

ts9 isnt distortion, its overdrive

in my case, it helps by smoothening out the distortion when it comes to lead or solos, but never for rythm.

Hi, i saved up about 1.6k (nvr used pedals before, actually wanted to buy pedals WAY long ago, but been busy and gather the whole chuck amount of money now). Actually i wanted to buy gt-8 and a decent amp, but it seems that quite alot of pp is saying that i should go for a low wat tube amp and get analog pedals. Anyway i see gt-2 is analog or digital. Kinda confuse here. Im looking at Tri-Ac, how is it? Look not bad. are those digital or analog? And if i wanna use power supply, how many pedals can it support? And where to buy? If so, will ibanez valbee do a good job for the sound? How about MXR distortion+?

Im getting most probably these pedals:
MXR distortion + or digitech blues (looking for warmer, not so fierce od/dis)
Jim dunlop Original OR JH wah-wah
tech21 TRI-AC
One compressor
a equaliser (is it worth to spend to amount to get 10 band instead of 6?looking at mxr)
mxr doubleshot distortion(looking for fierce type)
acoustic stimulator

are ALL single pedal analog? If not how to see? They will state or? If not which one i mention is digital? Sorry if this sounds kinda stupid, very blur on pedals

ok first things first. If you really decide you want to get a tube amp and get pedals it doesn't matter if its digital or analog as long as you like them. Dun go on 1 big shopping spree and splurge your money. Take your time and go try out the pedals with your own guitar and see if you like them.

Its the same with amps, bring your guitar and try out a few amps before deciding, you don't want to spend your savings on a whim and then regret it later.

If your not gigging a 15 watt tube combo is more than enough, if you plan on doing some gigging in the future maybe a 30 watter or so, anything louder you won't really utilise all the power. Look for good 2nd hand deals. There are always ppl selling them. Think there was a thread back talking abt low wattage combos. Do a search. I suggest you look for an amp first, it will affect the most on how you would sound.

Also, there is a SHARE thread above. Its stickied.

You have a hell lot of questions, and its likely not all will get answered...

So... go thru the SHARE thread, and find people who own the gear you are looking at. Then PM them. Most of them would be willing to let you go try the pedals out. Which is the MOST important factor in making a decision... plus, those guys in the SHARE thread own those pedals; they know what is good and what is BAD about them.
