Pedal Problem (Urgent)

Hey people, anyone can help me with this?

I plugged my guitar into my pedal (Transamp GT 2) and then my amp as per normal, but I can hardly hear anything! Sound is barely audible. I checked all the knobs, volume is ok. Other pedals seem to work fine. Any guesses?

Your SansAmp's battery is dead. Time for new batteries?

Or your guitar signal is not strong enough for the SansAmp to detect. eg. u simply forgot to turn the vol pot up.

Never use a stereo jack to plug to the input of your pedal. You need a normal mono jack to activate the power to the pedal.

Yeah, some cheapo cables are known to be too loose fitting and easily open circuit. So avoid those.

Thanks for the advice. Think I'll go get some better cables tomm. I can hear the crunch so tt means the gain is there (i.e the pedal is working). But the sound is kinda soft so should be cuz of the cables. Can't be the amp cuz it sounds perfect on clean
