what trick.. what you do?

i initially wanted to stain the wood to get the old and dirty wood feel
but the poly base coat was too thick and complicated for me to sand off and all my solvents wouldnt melt it, so i tried to kiwi it haha and it works out great...and im 40% done on my project! i have to relic the back and get the other parts for it...

coming from you, that poly sure sound like a tough coat.. kiwi is flammable.. *hint hint hehe

poly is an ass paint..it cracks ugly, and damn tough...haha and worst it 'deadens' your guitar sound... but oh well i cant really hear the diff anyways,dats wad ppl say..i just find it annoying to remove..

srv neck? giraffe neck? turtle neck? hehe

haha..i need a thick and i mean really thick D shape neck...1962 model to be exact...but if i can find one or my budget dun allow me to get it, i would settle for a vintage C shape neck..i duno why but im addicted to thcik necks...and other than that i have the hardware and electronics to buy OMG....can die sia..bridge,pickups,pots,jack,tuners,neck,nut,pickguard,plastic parts...the list goes on...haha

me too that time stuck on neck, buy squirel neck then buy dono what brand neck..
slowly buy bit by bit i think if want good usa parts at my rate until next yr also cant finish lol
so i decide not to wait, just fit on what comes along & learn in the process,
fix here fix there until become eieio alien prata shop instead of srv relic custom shop, haha

before that.. need advice before i drill neck..
just got mini clamps, any proper way to fit & align?

just make sure the neck fits snuggly in the pocket,and then clamp it there and just drill..mark the drill bits first just in case..
