over rated and under rated guitarists

I overrated sial...~ A friend of mine says I'm very 'pro' but in all honesty, I suck. And I'm not musically inclined. Just play for fun only.~
 
 
I thinj mark knofler is too under rated...front man of dire straits...
This guy is guitar god..even ERIC CPLATON ADMIT it..someplillay he is finger picking good,,well..he can pick as fast as using a pick..
it's just that he has MLound...see all his video in you tube....MK is the so humble though...
If you think others is good,,,just hear what david gilmour says...he is too far from MK..sting aslo praised MK..Elton John..TINA TUENER..

I think Gary Moore, Mick Taylor and Rory Gallagher are underrated. Keith Richards is overlooked for his nice little riffs between verses. Maybe Doyle Bramhall II is underrated as well.
 
steve vai is not overrated im not a fan of his guitar playing much...but i like his ibanez JEM guitars..he's damn good...his phrasing are not catchy type...you have to listen a few times his music before really getting into it....Satriani to me is much more conventional approach towards guitar playing...and he's very good too....this guitarist are not overrated...that is why they are consider by some guitar gods for a reason..stage performance,complex music approach,unique individuality creativity
i prefer finger guitarist like paul gilbert,jason becker,marty friedman,nuno bettencourt,chris borderick,buckethead,yngwie,pettrucci eddie van halen etc...those fast shredders with nice melody and phrasing...overrated guitarist-slash,eric clapton,hendrix,blues guitarist,john mayer......their music are ok in terms of composition but technically skill they are so-so only to me......
underrated guitarist-ME hahahahahahahahahaha....

of course guitarist evolve...there are many guitarist who could play music from steve vai malmsteen etc and some could even play faster than them....but to create your own complex composition like them and your own style....not many can do it....just copy or play covers
unless there are any new guitarist who can create something new and bring technical guitar to new level and influential
