checking everyone's perception on the Orange amps- do you at least GAS for one? otherwise, what's your reason for other considerations? thanks for sharing...

I wouldn't mind trying but again the price is quite a put off, taking into consideration that it doesn't really take pedals well

I wouldn't mind (the tube amps) but as far as I know they are fairly loud, not suitable for home use. Not too sure about the Tiny Terror on the picture though.

yes, price is an issue here. however, the Tiny Terror (head) pictured above is the latest entry (Chinese), about SGD$800+/-

The main thing is local availability. Most of us would prefer to take the best we can afford off the shelf rather than waiting for orders especially if don't have the chance to try personally.

shioks: I would believe this thread is sort of serving that issue if there's enough demand to move a few pieces locally, with that pricetag for the tiny terror.

I stand by the point too that unless this new orange product changes my perception of what it usually is, i will not acquire it even if its cheap.

ok lets see at that price point, min ull need at least a 12 inch cabinet. bringing the cost up to 1000+

Direct competitors would be vox ac15, fender blues/pro junior.

Got to say its a really tough sell. But of course itll be nice to have more options available locally. So someone please bring this in hehe!!!

thank you bro, for getting the hint :partyman:

I like the british vibe it gives, but I am the type who prefer to try the stuff before i buy, esp for amps, will wanna try it with me guitar. And there arent any local dealers. The nearest i think is HK or Aust

i've always wanted to own an orange amp. even planning to go to either indonesia or australia to get one. piling up the flight with the amp, the price will be so OH MY GOD. AD30R. damn..

there very few songs you can hear with orange amps. in fact, i only know one. stone sour - through glass. think you can hear more of it at the orange amp's website.

apart from orange, anyone thinking of getting rivera? another full tube amp unavailable to singapore amp.

I voted for 'don't mind trying one'.

I have been having a great time with my cousin's AD30HTC, I think he shipped it in for around 1300+-.

It's undoubtedly British sounding, but that's expected and ought to be appreciated, especially if you made the conscious option of purchasing an Orange amp.
It has some great tones in it, the twin channel with the dual preamps really does make some difference, keeping the 'purity' of the tone, so to speak.

someone tell me what is so great about this brand other than it looks friggin cool.

serious question here ahhh... no f with lame.

wow if its really capable of producing the sound on the youtube clip den im aiming for it already ahaha. been looking for a lightweight amp head which can do decent high gains, not those usual stuff which always does cleans. 800 is a good price for any tube amp anyway IMO. nowadays got all that divided by 13 or fuchs or cae od100 which only helps burn huge holes into our pockets its high time an affordable tube amp is made.
