Opinions on Vox Amplug (both the AC30 and Metal)

What's your opinion about it? Any gripes? Is it worth the cash? And if it's good, which version is better?

And of course, where can you buy it? :)
 
Place to get it is at City Music. They're having a year end sale now.

I've never had an amplug, but you might want to read up on Harmony Central.
 
Hi, citymusic is selling 3 amplugs for $141 bucks. I might be buying 2. Want to buy together? One amplug after discout is $50.
 
I've heard the metal one and its not bad.... its good for late night practice when you need some heavy chugga chugga! I might consider getting one. it would be better if it had some inbuilt metronome function but oh well.

oh yeah. i just bought a amplug metal. but i have no idea how to connect an mp3 source to the amplug. as in the cable. where can i get the cable and how much?
