retardedrummer:
Seems interesting. I've tried the HHX and AAX Ozones. Haven't tried the APX before. Hence the curiosity :)

I've been influenced by JJ Johnson who plays for John Mayer lately. Into totally huge cymbals. Check it out! Makes my ride feel super small now. But I've got a mind to get a 24" sometime down the road.

Specs:
18" Hats (18" K Custom Dark/18" A Custom)
19" K Medium Thin Crash
21" HH RBDR
6" Zil Bel

Ludwig 14x6.5 Birdseye Maple Snare
DW 5000 and 5002s

P.S: Lately the venue I had a chance to play at uses a small setup: hats, crash and ride. So I've converted into a minimalist setup.

Well not really but as I said the venue I got to play at uses more of a smaller kind of setup, and I think it'll be easier to lug less stuff.

And bigger size cymbals are low pitch, and gives more volume and fuller sound! The way to go, for me that is!

Kanzer: Ha! The main reason really is because I'm currently serving the nation, so I didn't really have time to set up the kit. Now that I've POC-ed, I might change it around, been loads of fun playing a 3-piece though.

cymball: My FT's 14". I've got a 13" converted FT as well.

haha the problem with serving the nation. soon it gonna be my turn. in one months time. AH! hahaha. i will have to take down my kit soon too.
