OFFICIAL- Show us your kits thread!

myner i suggest u keep dat kit and continue play on it. if u wan a good sound frm ur drum , u nid to buy new skin and tune it well and it will sound VERY VERY GOOD instead of buying good brand drum. actually good brand drum sound just abit different and not much. new skin made more different den brand. so think about it mate :)

haha. all the way jt. i support you. i will wait for you new drumasaur. shit i dunno how to spell hahaha.

murderdolls. i agree with you that new heads and great tuning will see a big change in the sound of the kit. but i feel that material of the kit does really make a bring difference too. you will not only feel the sound difference. you will also feel like super happy when you get to play the new kit and if it branded, better still. hahaha.

hahaha thanks fred.

its true. i've changed my tom skins, they sound nice. if you watch the video. you listen to my 13" tom. ( i use it as my primary floor tom ) i prefer it to most 14" or 16" floor toms i use in studios. for some reason the 11"x13" function is a lot rounder and just sounds better. hahaha.

never the less. i wanna settle for a kit with custom sizes, sounds good, and looks good too.
gosh. cant wait to get my new kit. (DrummaSAUR RAHAdfmfasfad fkhfkl hl) sorry. getting a bit too hyper. :D

if u noticed he's using pretty much good heads... REMO center dot for most of the batter.. dunno what he's using for reso.

Tuning wise i think he did a great job. The kit sounds great. BUT good head, Good tuning, low-end/entry level/budget kit = doesnt give u good sound..

Good brand drum does not equate to good sounding kit too. Instead, the quality, the make, the type of wood, and the integrity of the shell what makes the drum's sound, ergo, you should not just come up with that sort of conclusion.

Furthermore, the diff type of wood characteristics gives the different kind of sound too...

Sure you can make any shitty kit sounds good with good tuning and new and expensive drumheads but its practically limited in the tuning range and sounds you can experiment...

Food for thought.

AND MYNER, CALL ME WHEN U FREE LA CB! NOW EXAM OVER ALREADY! i come ur house with syafiq and syikin or smth la then all can jam. ahhaha
