Because of guests coming over, and since I'm going into NS soon, I've cleared out the room where I usually put my large music instruments, and crammed it into my bedroom instead.

@pacifusion: My other room has yangqin =P but in the case to save space when not in use, since I don't use it as much.

one of the best things that happened to me.
(there's supposed to be a cowbell under the ride, but i've changed my setting so the cowbell's under the zildjian hi-hat now. i've also removed the tissue paper 'dampener')

the wall's a bit irritating sometimes, especially when i'm using the floor tom and the zildian hi-hat..

Nice PDP!! Just face the drum kit to the wall and you'll instantly get more space in the room and your elbows won't be scraping the wall anymore....try it!

i've thought of that, but my band usually comes down for session and it'll feel funny to play with my back facing them... hahaha

i think i've heard somewhere that try putting rear view mirrors at the side of ur hi hat, maybe that helps!

O2Q rehearses with me twice a week with my back facing the band too....no prob! Just go to ikea and buy 2 cheap mirrors and mount them on the wall so you can still watch them....
