not being taken seriously?

=zax

haha i wasn't wearing that shabbily la. i don't expect to be treated like a king too if thats what you mean. i just want to test something without feeling like the person is saying 'when is this guy gonna leave' before i even plug in. not much to ask i believe.

human nature? human nature isn't always right, correct?
then its the responsibility of the shop to train the staff correctly, no?

if blackwood can do it, why not other stores?

If you in the mood to irritate the shop owner for not taking you seriously, just pay for the 3.5k+ guitar in $2 notes, all in one shot, and watch the PAIN!

But ya, I've also been treated that way jus cos I'm 14 lol. I remember one of the shops in Penin even asked if I was buying, then if I was interested, than if I got the money, when I only asked him if I could try it. What to do? Just turn away, walk out, and say to the friend of mine following me, "Come on, there's other places I can burn that $5000 bucks of mine at"

The shop owner dam pissed lol :p

Because blackwood understands customer service , others don't . Are you in DMTM btw?And of course human nature isn't perfect , which was precisely the point . Either that or you are just being too sensitive . Sometimes being a little "thick skinned" comes in handy .

Human nature is perfect, it is so selfish, it becomes very easy to manipulate, it's simple, dangle either an emotional or financial carrot, and that person becomes your ally.

Bring all your money along and wave it in the air. Like a fan.

Then you will look like you're ready to do business. After all, how many 16 year olds are serious about buying guitars above 3.5k.

to those who said 'welcome to singapore' or things like 'i prefer not to shop in singapore' you'll be disappointed when you get to other countries. Human nature the world over is very similar - if you go into a store looking like a bum or if you're very young the chances are you will not be taken as seriously as someone who looks like they have money and is serious and with a good attitude. Let's not blame singapore.

thank you!!!!!

well when i was 16 but of course now that i have to earn my own money to buy things , that's a whole new story altogether hahah , only now i appreciate the value of money for what it is.
