Noise problems

I'm experiencing some noise problems with my pedals and amp. Anyone know whats wrong?

at the moment i run

highway1 strat (SCs) > RMC1 > USA Big Muff > MIT DS-2 > Tonefactor AF > BYOC analog chorus > EHX electric mistress > MXR phase 90 > ...spider2 15 watt. These are all powered by 1 VS one spot with 2 daisy chains on it (for 9 outputs altogether). Electric mistress has its own adaptor, all on the same power strip.

problem can come from many places,

some tone suck
imput output jacks on pedals
guitar jack
amp jack
amp grounding
too many pedals running off a single power supply.

hmm. If the problems arise from the power supply, how will i fix that? 2nd one spot? Seems like all the pedals aren't noisy when powered/used alone.

Hmm.

Maybe you try the Big Muff before the RMC? My double muff just cannot be placed anywhere else apart from the first in line.

When does the noise come in.

Can't be when all pedals swtiched off right?

Do a test, all pedals off first. Then turn on one at a time, listen. Nothing? Anything? Then start doing combinations - YOUR favourite combinations. Find noise? Then on that combination, just turning on/off pedals to isolate the noise maker.

As I see it, most prob:

1) Too much gain
2) Your modulation pedals' interfering with the shared power supply

Choosing "worthy" threads to inject my bovine input into.

Actually, most of the time now, been nose-ing around performance/band matters...

big muff is noise !! btw at times you may have undesireable noise comin through and it just goes away ....thats the perk of analog :D

oh ed ...there is cow girl ...in pursuit
