No money to catch F1?

Yes CHannel 5 showing all 3 races. Tonight test run at 10pm, tomorrow qualifying round at 10 pm, sunday race at 7.30pm. If im not wrong, channel 24 showin also.

Yeah. I'm watching for Free. Not actually,i just catching a little here and there cos im helping out in for the three days. Most of the time i walk real slow and take 30 min for a toilet break.

i just watched the second practice run on cable.

i thought there was supposed to be a run yesterday. probably the 'first' practice run

My dad drove us up and down and across Benjamin Shears Bridge. I saw some of the cars doing their runs. Trust me on this one, the sound on TV don't do any justice to the "roar power" of these beasts. We could hear the distinct roars of the cars even at the DHL balloon near Bugis. I saw one of the two Mclaren's cars doing their rounds and one of the Hondas. AMAZING!

I'm totally getting tickets for next year.

bro, u should work lah at the Singapore F1...get paid quite good money for it...people pay to watch the F1...if u work, u will be paid to watch the F1 but u have to be station at the grandstand areas to get a good view lah :D

They are damn loud.. I still remember during the chingay when they first introduce the F1 car to the road.. I was at the memorial and the car drove passed us.. It was freaking loud!

Btw ahkiatt, i don't think this is an anual event here in Singapore.. Singapore is one of the hosting country for this F1.. I doubt there will be one next year..

haha if got walk-around pass stay back after the race to walk around... worth it lol....HAMILTON SIGNED MY IPOD!!! haha

it'll be an annual event bro...the contract to host the F1 race in Singapore is till 2010...

Meaning the barricade will stay there? Or they are removing it then install it again next year?

Woah, alot of hard work!

Try Marina Square. That is one of the bigger spots left unclosed. Also there is a portion at Stamford Road toward the end of the straight where a little gap in the fencing lets you stand about 10 meters away from the Turn 10 Chicane.

I let 3 cars go by me last night without earplugs. That convinced me to get the earplugs for the rest of the night at the grandstand in Turn 1.

TBH though, you gotta be a real fan to watch it live. Else watch it on TV, turn up the volume and you get a pretty good picture of whats going on already.

I like the cars. And the VROOOM~

But what WOWs me is the Scenery, SUPERB! Damn romantic. And you can feel like you are a tourist here in Singapore. Never seen such a beautiful Singapore before live on Tv..

No money to catch F1?

Just take a scenic drive along other roads in SG, not only can u watch F1, u can experience the rush too...on top of constant vulgarities.

F1 fever has really caught on with other drivers here.

F1

Watch on TV! So Much better! I can hear the cars briefly at certain turn from my house. Save your hearing! Im serious hearing is way better than seeing the car. Peace!

Woah, alot of hard work!

definitely will remove, cos it will cause problems to road users. the sitting galleries also. next year then install again....

as much as i like F1, really no money to watch it live. i think its a luxury item....no choice, watch on tv :(
