I shall endeavour to make homemade ones! 
Save money to pay drum lessons, and hopefully buy drums >.<
But I anticipate skipping some meals to pay for the lessons le... T_T

I took 5 jobs and saved for like 6+ months for my drumset.
And spending on drum stuffs can never end.
Trust me.
I just bought my dream guitar and in my opinion, spending for guitar stuffs can stop for months till you buy more guitar stuffs.
But drums..... it's like the crashes are never enough.
I tend to spend too much on drum stuffs - esp on those on awesome deals.

Measly allowance? I think almost everyone's been thru that.
The basic set don't cost as much as the add-ons.
If you want a drumset, work on it. These things don't come overnight.
It took me 8 months to save for my dream guitar too.
And I DON'T earn like 6k per month alright.
AND the last time I went shopping for clothes and girls stuff was in........June 2008.
So yeah, I figured out music stuffs are more important than those dresses. LOL
The crashes, I think they each have their own unique sound. Thus explain the "collection".

I actually bought the drumset for my little brother as a gift for doing well in his exams.
I was like, "Okay, what you want as a present for doing well? I buy anything for you."
He had to say drumset. -_-"
I was expecting Hot wheels or something. LOL
So out of curiosity, i sat there and whack the drums.
I FELL IN LOVE!!!

Haha, I thought it's kind of obvious that I'm a guy. Now, I wish I have a sister like you. My sister can't wait to marry off and move out because of my drums.

Mine is working but still owes me $, wheres the logic in that -_-
She intro'ed me to rock though, before that i hated music...
Hmm, I started taking interest in drums after watching people play rockband and drummania... Looks fun, it gave me the feeling that it's much more carefree than guitar.
Lol, no idea wad i'm saying, not coming out right >.<
Plus, i always thought drums look cool, now i noe their coolness comes with a hefty price too

LOL. I treat both my brothers equally. But still, there's a price to pay. They can get whatever they want in exchange for something else. Eg, good results and manners/attitude.
So I don't think they're that lucky.

Nope.
My current job is 9-6pm from Mon to Fri.
I tutor after my day job.
Work on weekends as a pharmacist assistant.
Did freelance writing.
And I'm a camp instructor where you work on a project basis.
So yeah, can die.
But a promise is a promise. I gotta get the drums for him anyway. Which is then also MY drums. Hahahahaha
