Newbie here :D

Saw that in the Drum section.
You are starting to get obsessive with drums huh?
That's good, cos if you are gonna buy one, I'm sure you gonna treat her better than your girlfriend.

My kitties hate my music instruments and I always either find them scratching my bass drum or pouncing on my guitars.
And all I have to do is take one stomp on the bass pedal, and they both run like mad! hahahahahahaha

Ps: One kitty pounced on one of my guitar before and the output jack came off. O_O
They really hate me.

anyway, airdrum is the way to practice, at least it worked for me in the beginning.Try playing 4/4 beats on any pop songs tht you hear on the radio nowadays.4/4 always fit in on any pop songs.

Nooo! Thats a lie! :D
Well, I did attend drum lessons on valentines first before meeting her to slack at my house...
But its still a lie! XD

First drum lesson today, Alfe is a really nice guy, I just nodded non-stop today, nth more i can do when getting spammed by info, lol, learnt quite a lot today.

Hmm, buying a drum pedal? Got any suggestions for cheap ones?
Wonder if musiclab sells cheap ones...

You can get discounted price at Musiclab right?
And why buy a pedal??
Buy a drumset lah!!!! hahahahahahaha

Oh i mean a new girlfriend. :)

Rofl, I too poor to buy a drum set, no idea abt the discount musiclabs gives to students...
Didn't ask...

One girlfriend is all i need XD
Otherwise, I'd have to create a new acc named "ilovemydrums"

Come ah. I give you some reason why to buy a bass pedal

You get a bass pedal if you don't have space for a drumset
You get a bass pedal if you have lousy neighbours
You get a bass pedal to practice bass techinques with real feedback
You get a bass pedal coz its cheaper than a whole set
You get a bass pedal coz you don't have the money for a whole set!

Haha. But the 4th reason is combined with the last reason. If really no money, the least a drummer should have is

1) Your own drumsticks (If not whack with chopsticks ah)
2) Your own practice pad
3) Your own bass pedal
4) Your own snare drum

Maybe the 4th one not that much, but still, I only own 25% of the list T.T

He's not creative. He's obsessed. Hahahahaha
When you're obsessed with something, you can create anything out of, erm, ANYTHING! Hahahaha. I bet he can build a drumset out of sand.

Okay okay...
I'm not that despo yet u noe... >.<

Does practicing with a surface with little rebound harm your playing?
Or just lousy practice?

I dunno dude.
I air-drum alot and realised that my response was faster while air-drumming. LOL. Cos maybe my air-crash is just 5cm away from me. O_O

And my double pedals was much faster when i use my air-pedals.

Haha, been daydreaming in all my classes >.<
Just waiting for sat's drum lesson all the time :D

Still whacking my pingpong bat and mattress, can't wait to be able to play some cool beats :)
I haven't been practicing much really, like ~20 mins a day...
This week got quite alot of assignments and tests.
Sch sux...
