I understand that you are not a corporate identity but in the end, your primary objective is to get people interested and informed about the local scene and the local music, am I right?
So, all I am saying is that to get people to come back and keep coming back and get interested and think that the local scene is "Wow!", you can certainly make your blog more interesting. Doesn't have to be controversial, but can appeal to everybody. And I mean everybody.
For example, tomorrow I think they are screening Live & Loaded on television, and you can do a review on that show, and subsequently interview the bands featured, and write about how the local scene is taking off, with support from the government who are pushing the arts and youth activities etc.
