New local scene Blog especially for local bands of any genre

Hi everyone!
My friend & i are going to start a local scene blog.We'll be featuring different bands once a week.Theres just so many bands to choose from so we would appreciate it if you could give us some suggestions by telling which local band you'd like to see being featured in this blog&why.Our first band being featured is Meza Virs cos i think they deserve to be the first featured band.We want to feature as many bands as possible,be it any genre & they dont have to be an established band.We'll let you guys know the add of the blog once we're done with our first post(Meza Virs).The local scene is alive&lets all keep it that way

they are one of the most underrated great bands in the local scene.

Sage-haha,thats my personal blog!The local scene blog isnt done yetIt will be soon though.
Budakbone-Yes you can promote your own band too!haha,as long as you have 1 or 2 recordings.

& yes its for all genres cos variety is the spice of life & i think many unknown & known local bands deserve the spotlight.The reason why so many american bands are huge is because of their own local support but then again the population there is huge whereas singapore is well, extremely small, but im sure our bands will be made known thanks to all our local scene supporters

it's true what you say about american markets, when there is support from the community, record industries will see us as a viable market to sell their commodity and saturate the media with band publicity!

Definitely a good idea. Esp if the traffic flow is gonna be like soft... those bands being featured will definitely get more exposure.

yea great idea. if this goes well, you'll be famous for starting the blog, not only at soft. it'll leak to mediacorp or someplace important and you'll be known. like xiaxue. hehehe

Naah,the blog is for the local scene,so if anyone's gonna get famous then its gonna be the bands that are featured& yes lifele55,our local bands really do deserve the exposure.
&thanks again for the support people!

The blog will be done by tomorrow so i'll be posting up the link by next week.The first band being featured is Meza Virs.We also had an interview with them which will be in the blog as well.We'll be featuring bands on a weekly basis(1 band per week) so there'll be enough spotlight on each bandJust some info though,it is a blogspot blog&not a website so the format is just of a blog.Hopefully,if this blog gets a little established,we can get our own domain.We will be getting the design done up soon later on next month so till then the design will be a blogspot default design.
