Hello

Sorry if this seems like spam, but this is a semi-home grown pedal, so thought it might be of interest to SOFTies.

I just announced it on TGP, and this is what I wrote:

Announcing launch of our first product, the Chi-Wah-Wah pedal:

I’m very excited to be able to make this announcement, which has been a labor of love for myself and a friend over the past 18 months of R&D and working with suppliers/manufacturers and other 3rd parties, which has been a roller-coaster ride for us both.

Our online store will go live this month, but for enquiries while we are getting the first run manufactured, we can be contacted at info@plutoneium.com. I hope you like what you see and am grateful in advance for your custom, support, comments and feedback as we grow our company and product portfolio into the future.

The pedal pricing is not yet finalized but will be slightly above the mid-range for wah-wah pedals.

“The Chi-Wah-Wah features a completely original 100% analog signal path that has the versatility to capture and recreate the legendary Wah sounds of yore, or take the effect into new sonic realms if you so desire. All of this within a compact armored housing that will take up the space of only a single standard-sized effects pedal, with an actuation designed to free you to spontaneously express yourself through your music.”

Hey all the best to you, will recommend this to friends who're looking for wahs :). Btw which dealers in Singapore are you going to ask to carry this?

Congrats on the launch of your new pedal and thanks of the mention on your blog :D Glad to know you're enjoying your Martin HD-28 :)

Hifi_killer - Foot size doesn’t really matter since our pedal is not in the traditional mode of you put your whole foot on it such as on a Crybaby or Vox – you tread on it with the ball of your foot and toes, i.e. the front part of your foot only.

Level Control
This controls the amount of output level. Clockwise positions boost the signal more for solo performances. The Level control is not a ‘gain’ control, it does not alter the Wah sound, it only attenuates or boosts.

Contour Control
This modifies the intensity of the Wah resonant peak – the ‘Q’ of the Wah circuit. Clockwise positions give an intense Wah peak, while counterclockwise positions will give a very warm response.

Gain Control
This controls the amplification boost of the primary Wah circuit. Higher gain results in a louder effect, more low frequency range and a warmer overall effect with an element of drive. Less gain will give a slightly raspier Wah with higher frequency emphasis.
