(New here) Where to buy a carpet?

Hi all,

I'm trying to find a place to buy a carpet to put under the drum kit.

It doesn't need to be soundproofing quality or fancy, just large enough (about 150 cm x 150 cm or so), somewhat thick, and able to hold the bass drum spikes so that the bass drum doesn't slide.

I've tried Spotlight in Dhoby Ghaut (too small, too thin), lots of carpet stores (only sell in full rolls, or very fancy/expensive rugs), classified ads in Straits Times (same), and yellow pages/internet searches.

Can anyone please suggest where you buy a piece of any kind/color/type of carpet of roughly 1-2 metres square in Singapore?

In other places that I've lived, carpet stores have piles of scraps left over from their various projects and they sell them so they don't have to throw in the garbage. Here it seems those scraps are left with the customer. So I haven't found anything yet. At all.

I stay in Jurong and I saw at the Pasa Malam have Cheap Nice & Thick carpet for sales recently - just nice to put a Drum Set.....near the Blk 500 something market..

You can check it out - it close to a $100 - but it's damn Thick and good quality ones.

i thought i was at spotlight at Dhby ght. I saw thick carpets.. for $99. yeap. should be able to work out man. nw im having trouble finding drapes. Build platform for ur drums? effective!!! and expensive!!(lol)
