Need help with pickup fitting

Hey guys, thanks for reading. Well I'm thinking of getting Gretsch filtertron pickups over ebay cuz this guy's selling it. Problem is, i have a squire 51. Do you think it'll fit?

It won't fit unless you do some modifications.

Pictures would help, what are the pickup routings on the 51?

If I'm not wrong they are H-H, if so, it still won't fit unless you get someone to custom cut your pickguard.

51 pickguards are difficult to come by.

and I've never seen anyone selling HH combi 51 pickguards anywhere.

It can be done, but you need money.

yes the pickguard can be done with money paid but also take note of ur cavity slot for e pickup.. sufficient space ?

yea i heard about GFS pickups.
cheap and good non-US made pickups.

but im gonna be placing an order for stewmac's golden age pickups soon.
heard good things about them too, and the tone is similar to gibson's '57 classic and at a way cheaper price.

its rare for someone in sg to have a squire 51, first i've heard.

But the pickup cavity is a HH if I'm not wrong.

Many many modders out there have switched the single coils for buckers, all they did was trim the guard.
