need help urgently!

500k will give a brighter tone.
there are also 1meg pots, which of cos will open the humbuckers up even more.

also quite a few gibsons since the 70s use 300k volume pots.
so unless the pickup is super bright, expect a much darker sound from using 300k.

Hey guys, how about TONE pots? I got a kit from GuitarFetish, and it came with two 500k and two 250k audio taper pots.
I'm guessing the 250K pots are for the tone controls?

hey bro u can use 1 meg pots for tone or vol ..
its all depends on you ...and what you want..
and you can mixed the pots (250k 500k 1meg or even 2meg )
like 250k vol and 1meg for tone ...

like i said its all up to you..
i personally like 1 meg pots ..and no tone ..
but thats me ..what abt u??
