Need help On vol pot control

Hi guys...Im Mazzy.In my humble says,i kinda need help from any of you guys tat could let me know where i did wrong...Which is...i rewiring and solder guitar vol pot/tone pot end up when i turn the vol all the way down it's still have a little sound...If any of you guys tat can lead me to the problem i will be much appreaciates...Just wanna safe cost and learnt to do it...If any of you guys willing to help im much2 very happy...Tks
 
guess you have already check the wiring again and again.

But if you still wanna check, maybe can google round for sites with pickup up wiring pics to refer to and follow the wiring on the vol and tone pot again.

if wanna save cost, google round for info on pots, what make a pot, a volume pot/tone pot with the way you wire it.

for a pot wired as volume, the 3 points on the pot for soldering, usually, one will be the input, one as the output and one to ground.

When you wire it in that way, the action of turning the pot, will either

1) let more signal go to the output jack
or

2) let more signal to ground, thus cutting the sound

without looking at your wiring or knowing anything else, maybe you can check the ground wiring or if theres any bare wires accidentally touching somewhere.

If all try liao, still cannot, heh, desolder everything, change pot, get a multimeter(for checking continuity and stuff), read the info on net, try to rewire and see where it goes.

Hi broo...tks for ur help...i did get to fixed the problem...wohooo..tks for ur adviced..the problem is tat...i miss solder the ground from the vol to vol pot ground..Sorry if explaint wrongly ya...but anyway it fixed...tks bro for your help...peace n cheers...
