The thing that really caught me is...

B-E-A-D-G-C-E (the added high E)

Just look at the tension at the headstock, the B string is almost touching the E string. Friction? And that poor nut must be suffering.

With Ibanez, the bass is becoming more like a guitar with added higher note strings, and the guitar is becoming more like a bass with added lower note strings (RG2228: F#-A-D-G-C-F-A-D)

Will Ibanez make a 12-string bass-guitar one day???:twisted:

strange though since i own a SA120, now ibanez is offering the SA120cn, which is china made, and looks like my SA120(unlike the newer SA120ex).
why no more indonesian made SAs?

also what 1mband posted, that's supposed to be a guitar/bass hybrid. i just don't understand how it works? the tension, the pickups, etc.. so do you run it through a bass or guiatr amp??
