is this normal??? if it is its freaking wierd. this only happens to my wah.

my amp is on the clean channel, none of the pedals in my chain are on. plugged into the guitar or not the wierd sound still occurs. and it only occurs with my wah. no other pedals cause this problem

capacitors store charge.

It is probable that when you remove the power supply, the capacitor discharges. Thus giving that fading zipping sound.

Have you tried this without anything plugged into the input?

i've tried removing the cable from my guitar thats plugged into the wah. it still occurs. if what u say is true, why does it happen only to the wah and not my other pedals?

also, is this safe and normal for my gear? can this cause damage to my pedals or amp?

Its probably also because your other pedals have either true bypass or a good buffer where none of the effect circuit affects your signal when in bypassed mode.

I don't forsee any damage. Although I would prefer to stick in the 9V power jack when the supply is off, then switch it on. Goes the same with anything requiring an external power supply.

This is to prevent accidentally frying something.

If you don't have a battery inside the wah at the moment, putting one in may actually solve the problem. Because when you remove the external power supply, the battery power kicks in and prevents the cap from discharging.

It would be caps in the wah, it has nothing to do with your amp.

When delay is activated, proceed to unplug the supply to the wah pedal. The sound will be fed into delay.

90% repeat will ensure that either the sound will be near oscillation or infinite repeat. At this time, turn the time knob of the delay to vary the pitch of that sound. Fasten it up or slow it down.

Watch the repeat to prevent the sound from getting overwhelming.

Once satisfy, turn the time on delay to the longest setting(and back to the shortest delay time)

HAHAH wooooooo i tried it it sounds SOOPER awesome!!! so fun..

sadly my delays wet signal sounds softer than the sound effect by itself even when the mix is maxed. cant get something of equal volume. stupid carbon copy

Wahahaha! That is the coolest thing i've ever heard! I've also managed to make a cool sound with this Peavey Acoustic Amop, simply by dropping it. A 'whang whang' sound comes out of it. The springs supporting the speaker are loose, hence the sound. Patent it man, it cld be the nxy big thing in efx!
