My latest vai cover. ^^

Yeah! Thats what I'm talking about!
Good job!

Except for the ocassional clipping, I thoroughly enjoyed that. What s/ware are u using?

i just pluck my johnson distortion pedal + boss ds-1 + danelectro fab echo + bad horise 2 wah (which i never used) into the soundcard. I am pretty sure the sound would be alot better if i switch the johnson distortion into an Ibanez TS or just pluck into an amp with overdrive + ds-1.
The guitar i am using is an ibanez rg270dx fitted with evos. Used Audacity to record.

Not bad. Maybe you could make your bends a little more gradual or a lil "smoother" because it seems a little awkward and draggy when you hang on the note longer than it should be held

I still need to pinpoint the location of the pinch harmonics for the second strings and third strings tho.. now and then i still missed it... which caused me to replay again and again for recording. haha. Nonetheless, will practice harder to make it sound closer to the real thing with slight touch of my own feel. Thanks for the encouragement and kind words tho ^^.

I'll be frank here. (not like I've not been frank before)

The tone is horrible. Nothing that proper recording techniques and gear wouldn't solve though. Do look up how to do proper recordings and get a better tone. You need an amp sim or good eq-ing. I know some other Dude has (apparently) done it before but well... here's the plain truth.

The playing is okay. Note the bends and vibrato. Relax and do wide, expressive vibrato. When you play higher, your bends get worse and I think your guitar's intonation is out. Nearing the end of the song, your guitar went out of tune. Your trem/whammy usage isn't "extreme" enough - when there's a dive bomb, you don't dive deep enough.
