My Guitar Mod!!!

No no... its the stock paint job... ;)

Its on all 2002 S520EX guitars. :)

I rem there were only 2 in Swee Lee... 1 on display, the other in storage, which i took. :)

I could man... I could! Lemme show you my current switching...

1 - Neck hum
2 - Neck parallel
3 - Neck and Bridge hum
4 - Neck and Bridge SPLIT inner coils
5 - Bridge hum

I got 1 more push pull pot option, the volume pot.

I can go for out of phase. The out of phase will only work on positions 3 and 4.

If I go for split... then positions 1, 3 and 5 will be affected. And I can have position 3 both hums split to outer coils.

Hmmm... I shall think about it. :) I might even take out the No Load pot.. and install a mini toggle to handle that... when the tone pot is bypassed, there's a pretty big diff in tone. Nice for shredding solos. Not that I can shred lah.. but you get the idea! 8)

oh - so ur wiring is even better than this! haha. i thought u were using 3 way switching... hmm.

i'd bet u've seen this, but guitarnuts has a discussion on the various switching for humbuckers:

http://www.guitarnuts.com/wiring/sw3.php

i myself have a Washburn H-S-H with a push pull... and now that my performances are finished i'm wondering what combinations i should do... :)

how much does scalloping cost? played on a scalloped neck recently... shiok la, thinking of getting it done on my guitar

Not cheap. Prepare to be at least $350 poorer if you decide on scallops.

Btw Daniel, i'm a lil confused here, isn't the Dimarzio X2N supposed to be a double rail pickup instead of poles?

You want to drill your guitar to add switches? But your guitar's unique.. You sure you wanna drill the fella?

Well, the pics don't have the X2N yet.... i mentioned it there in the post with has the upgraded pics... ;)

And yes... a mini toggle switch is just 1 small hole... thats cool with me... :)

nah theres still tat 36 dollar kapok lying ard in the storeroom

Average 20 mins per fret, haha, if you're gonna be hardworkin, you'd end up with dead fingers by the end of the week. Just ask Dhalif, too bad he's in the army now :(
