My Guitar Composition + Vocal - Stranger in the Snow

Just one my latest composition and this time i tried singing wiht my own created lyrics.

Hope you guys enjoy it. Please mind my voice. I'm not a good singer

The Lyrics are as per below :

Stranger in the Snow.

walking through the forest,
walking through the darkness,
walking through the snow,
walking all along, alone...

found a spot alone,
on a tree bench,
watching on the horizon,
the moonlight saids it best,

the snow was thick and sad,
letting no one stay,
there's no pain i feel more,
it's all nothing but hey...

how much more is there,
it doesn't matter anymore,
after all, i'm nothing more,
just a stranger in a snow,

The song got potential, just need to work on the chord progression. Right now, it is one 1 chord throughtout the verse. The chorus need to have more uplifting chords to make it different from the verse.

*very classic rock, like Scorpion style

hey thanks for the feedback. well, actually i don dare to use other chords during the fingerpicking because i prefer simplicity.

usually prefer to go one way style but currently i'm trying to improve that part.

yes it's a normal acoustic guitar. quite a lousy one..haha

anyway, one thing i use to record is a normal computer mic which cost only 10 dollars or so.

But the thing, normal pc mic cannot capture sound so good.

so what i did is create a amplifier and stick it on the mic.

First what i did is get a coke bottle those 1.5 liters one.

Cut out the top half and then i just stick it on the mic, and to make sure the top-half of the coke bottle stick properly, i put some polysterine at the bottle mouth.

in my video, actually you can see the mic, somewhat a small dish mounted on it.

Trust me, when u do this, and u turn on the mic boost in windows, and when u record, you be surprised that it can even capture sound 1 meter away.

that's how i did it.

Basically, a mic with a top-half cut coca-cola bottle mounted on it.

Turn on the mic boost, and walla...there u go.
