Have read some comments on TGP saying the overdrive is substandard but the boost is pretty okay.

I've heard the boost/overdrive overseas. I wouldn't say the overdrive is substandard but it is definitely a one trick pony....seventies rock is the name of the game.
But again, take what people tell you on the net with a grain of salt
It would definitely be reviewed badly by a 15 yr old with a passion for metal.
