Something to clarify here though. The things that I bring in are not exactly all NOS - New Old Stock. EX-STOCK rather. By Ex-Stock I mean "EXISTING STOCK", but hey - not "EXPIRED STOCK" man..

Dude... Got difference meh?

Mr Whitestrat's silo order thru me was a very special piece that require no waiting. It was a PIEZO-equipped silhouette HSH, in the color he want - yes, white. Custom order usually take 5 months to deliver. I dont do that - too risky with a lot of money tuck in the dealers too long. I prefer buying off the shelf. The risk? As mentioned earlier, may be minty fresh stock, may be not. But one thing for SURE - cheap. The White silo in question is $700 odd cheaper than what our dealer is quoting. Would you go for that kind of a savings? For me, its a yes. No worry on shipping oversea! You think aeroplane get bombed everyday?

the local dealer will probably ask you: "Piezo? What's that?"

Now... How about that Silo Spec in sparkle?

Sure got diff dude. I think we generally term items as NOS when its was manufactured long ago but that has never been used. But technically we cant apply that for guitar because most of them are displayed in stores to let potential customers try out, therefore become USED if we want to be strict..

Unless we are talkin about those $57000 SRV or EVH relics where only one is being invited into the shop's vault to view, yeah - those are the pure "NOS" we talked about. Ex-stock would be a better terms since they are existing stock available for sale. My Y2D & AL are stocks I bought minty fresh from the shop. Because I always monitor the stock movement and once they are launched, I bought them off immediately without even letting others touching them first. Timing to buy is thus the key in getting good/brand new guitars from overseas.

Yeah, talkin about the sparkle here... Will update you guys on its movement later. Me enjoying every moment with it now, even just by looking at it..

NOS sia!!!! like fender 57', 62, 56.!!!!! got relic or not?

To the thread starter, I strongly recomend the BFR JP. I've never played such a nice, fits my body guitar. not even my current JP, although its close, imo. The neck contour & radius is just perfect!!!!!!!

Off topic. Anyone interested in ordering Andy Timmons DVD?

Please lar... Don't belittle them...
They are quite knowledgeable...

BTW, they are the local dealers for Egnator amps...

You should have heard the responses to the questions I asked. You really would change your mind... I'd have a lot more respect for them if they actually knew the difference between rosewood neck and rosewood fretboard. Haiz... Actually, if only you knew the frustration in the process that led to my final order of my guitar from them, you'd know what I'm talking about.

Dun care lah... just get me my guitar.

Yeah... those Egnator amps... those are cool man... was tempted to pull the trigger on one...

For that price I can even get you a BFR JP7 in any colour you like PLUS money leftover to go for a short bali trip, or to buy a LV purse bag for your missus, or to buy one Nova Delay, or to book 15-20 jam sessions until you got tired playing your BFR...

But dont buy thru me lah - things come not nice cannot kao beh one okay? Haha. But I never regret the things I ordered so far.

P.S.: Following message not for you leecs. You are rich so ignore the following.

Please, to anyone interested to buy a EBMM thru me - PM me only to quote price when you are willing and READY to buy. I am not trying to be nasty. Everytime pp ask me quotes, I gotto email my dealers to check price, do my margin pricing, admin pricing etc etc. I can provide a long list on the stock I have, but hey - always end up people testing water. EBMMs are NOT cheap. Dont think bcos it is also made in USA like fender, it must priced like fender. To cut thing short - you must have at least $2800sgd to buy a standard EBMM model. More for signature and custom/LE models. Even MORE-R for discontinued sparkles or watever. If you wanna pay only $1500 or $1700, I recommend you go Davis! They got OLP! Can buy many OLPs with that type of money! Very good also! Or go ebay buy a SUB1! Cheap!

I provide tiptop buying and courier service for you - tracking of item, fund tranfers. You just need to see me 2 times to own your dream EBMM. oNE TIME pay deposit, the other time take stuff and pay me money. Dont need to nego here, nego there. Now how shiok is that?

Just to shed some light here about pricing and my recent encounter with water-tester..

Got dude interested in BRAND NEW Natural Top Axis Super Sport with Trem. I quoted him about $3000 for everything. His reply - For a $1.5k usd guitar, I am charging too ex!..???? Ex? don need to pay shipping from store to my middleman? dont need to pay shipping to singapore? money will fly to US for free, so dont need wire transfer fee isit? dont need to buy insurance for shipping? dont need to pay gst as if garmen my father isit? then uncle me do for free also isit?

Hello - $1.5usd is about $2000sgd, shipping about $300 - $350, gst about $150, bank transfer fee about $30 - $50, insurance about $60-$80, Copi money about $200-$300. Sometime we must be realistic a bit lah. If you think you can bring a EBMM out of US easily, go do yourself, by all means...

Luckily Sinamex is here to save us all....

You ah... That's why I keep saying NOS lah... you tell ppl ex stock, ppl keep thinking it's USED.

For the record, I didn't doubt Ripper's word on the white silo I got that it was NOS. EBMM necks aren't finished. Now, when I look at my 20th Silo which is heavily played and cleaned, it's already blackish. And the guitar is only 3 months old.

I think you need to show the USD breakdown for the guitars. List prices quoted are only hardtail. Trem is another $500USD (correct?)

BFR safe lah... lacquered neck and rosewood board... No need to worry abt condition... Unless you get BFR Luke...:p

I prefer the Tobacco burst or black burst JP. I'll let you know again...

Wanna make it look like new? Tips here - very simple. Just go to the handyman shop at shaw center, buy some 0000grade steel wool, and rub away the grime, will look A LOT cleaner. No worry on abrasion against the maple board - the maple board is bloody hard!
I think you need to show the USD breakdown for the guitars. List prices quoted are only hardtail. Trem is another $500USD (correct?)
Share my little research on importing, owning and selling Balls here: There is NO difference in the price of a vintage trem and hardtail. I am very sure to say this bcos I monitor and compare quotes offered by my dealer. Difference in prices are results of: Piezo or not, burst color or not, limited edition or not, Floyd trem or not, and, inflation/change in forex rate. If I am not wrong, EBMM practises bleakeven pricing. One evidence is the same pricing of a silo spec against the signature models such as Morse, AL. Second most ex is Y2D, Luke, Axis SS, then standrad JP, follow by LEs, and the top-of-the-line: BFRs.

Costs to dealer is the same, its up to them to mark up. However if you do custom order in a piece-by-piece basis, the additional upcharge comes in. Of cos mah, its sterling('s) Balls, nOT your ball, correct anot? But dealer can get breakeven pricing, bcos they buy in bulk. This explain why I can get same price for a trem and hardtail AL. But sometime also very different price for the same item.

You know Robelinda's LE06 Black Silo? I got a price for it together with a LE06 AL SSS. Prices that dealer offer me will make you laugh till you drop! LE models for only...$1399USD!!!!!!!! Too bad I was not into black guitar - very serious mood. But that was long story ago..Recently I was quoted a very attractive price on the Blue Dawn Silo Spec, so, cannot wait, must grab.

I cant really show an exact breakdown of the price though, if not people will poke poke here, poke poke there, say this say that. You wanna buy, sui, make a pact with me, I bring you the thing you want.
