Problem is, even with high end Gibsons, you would find workmanship that don't meet your expectations occasionally. Especially since you're forking out such an amount, your expectations are also much higher. You'll probably end up feeling worse about paying so much for something you feel doesn't live up to your expectations. My advice is still to try it for real and decide from there. Its probably a safer bet if you pay a bit more for a greater piece of mind.
Ur so rite brother! Actualy i would rahter get one localy since i can touch and try it out! the only thing dat attracted me was the huge $$$ difference! and honestly i had super high expectation since it was coming from abroad!

Hey thanx alot guys forthe valuable input! Appreciate it alot!

differences- you can check out at Gibson's homepage, spec differences are clearly available, unless there's other query specifically?

i'm urging potential Gibson buyers to opt for a local purchase, the primary reason being the ability to inspect the instrument before you part with cash. despite sporting blemishes, my Les Paul is very acceptable feel & tone-wise. i wouldn't let minor cosmetic flaws get in the way of a good playability/ tone.

vconceirge charges 2% off the total invoice tho. might as well pay MF direct since they allow international payments now.

i think MF only accepts paypal if you dont have US credit cards

i think 2% is a small price to pay if you dont have a US ccard
