got so many threads blasting musical instrument shops here?

well i'll jump against the bandwagon and start a thread on musical instrument shops that deserve praise

for me this goes to ALL MUSIC, really accomodating and cool ppl there, esp lawrence

another 1 is music ensemble, last time i went there was 2 years ago, and it left a really lasting impression, e salesperson(cant rem his name), was new and didn't really noe much abt stuff and all, but was really accomodating letting me try the wah pedals and amp

another 1 is music theme/ranking sports, really nice ppl there, more accomodating and not so moody faced

btw, music ensemble has moved, juz in case u wanna visit them n cant find them at the old spot..

wehh,i bet most of the shops in the Peninsula Underground(lol) sure kena praise 1..

well i giv credit for those shops which allow its visitng folks to play with all their instruments without bugging/staring at them..

BEEZ, Luthur music are super friendly guys. can just sit ard the whole day chatting to them.

I had this very good experience at swee lee sims drive(tt was last yr) when i was a complete noob to guitar. I was just causually asking about efx pedals and this guy frm swee lee(cant rmb his name) just took out a BOSS metalzone and a mega dist plugged in with a fender justto show me the difference and prove my sceptism wrong that fenders cant play metal.( i had so called frens den) i haven even bought my first effect or jammed before that time den. never mind i was just a sec 4 student and i know sec sch kids usually are usually the bane of music shops hu try without buying.(altho i bought my guitar frm there)

We had a very good time conversing and he was showing me some metallica stuff. He even bothered to write down a list of good metal bands for me to listen to cos i was pretty new to all this back den.

that was an example of a very good encounter i had which gave me this good lasting impression of Swee Lee. I dunno if that guy today is still your staff or not, but if hes not, den its your loss.

Kudos. That was the first and most lasting impression i had in a music shop. Still remember it fondly to this day, despite not being able to remember the guy's face or name. :D
