With ‘Love Electric’ the goal was simple; to achieve the commercial sheen on a well crafted pop record as an independent band with no help from teams of songwriters and producers that major label artists are all too familiar with.
Taking cues from 70s funk guitars, 80s electropop, 90s dance anthems and contemporary R&B the band seamlessly steps in and out of genre borders with their debut effort. It is a collection of bittersweet love songs presented in a myriad of ways, from the sugar coated title track 'Love Electric' to the venomous rock number 'Strikeout'. One thing is for sure; there is definitely something for everyone.
Im really shooting in the dark here but does anyone has an old copy of Sugarflies' album? I am also looking for their particular track "What ABout", anyone can help me please pm. Thanks!
