i think u take the drinking and jamming thing a bit too literally...

when they say they get their inspiration from drugs and alcohol i dun think they meant it live....if not u'll end up like scott stapp (hope i won't get flamed for this )

yeah, alcohol juz numbs ur senses and makes u feel like superman. keywords here are 'makes' and 'feel like'.

but it doubt it'll make guitar playing any better.

I cant quiet understand, how people like Hetfield, Mustaine and Hamett can play so well on Cliff em all when they're drunk.

Man even Randy from LoG, he gets completely smashed off his tits, but he can sing like a madman and it doesnt make his performance any different, maybe even better

maybe they aren't drunk in the first place cos they can hold their liquor very well....

anyway i think it's foolish to be thinking tt drinking can help ppl play guitar better when so many ppl have died cos of drink driving...
