most common guitar bought by singaporeans?

i tend to notice alot of singopreans buy guitars which are mostly ibanezes..

what do you all think?

I suppose it's the Ibanez RG series, the Epiphone LP and the Fender / squier / copycat Strat.

Every father mother son also seems to have owned one of those at any one point in time of their life.

Hmm, I do see a lot here playing Ibanez. My first guitar was the Ibanez 'S' 540S Ltd Series - when it was first launched and endorsed by Dave Mustaine. See http://www.shimamura.co.jp/storecms/media/usedimage/511115.jpg

I gave that away to a friend, and then it was the Ibanez JS1000.

I finally got sick of Ibanezes and have since moved on to Fender and Gibson.
