modding a TIMBRE guitar

I borrow a MIM fender strat for a month, thinking it would own my SX strat at home. Turns out , the SX still came back into my playing hands haha. Everything on both guitars were stock and tested on the same gears.

i'm considering getting the sr200 and changing its pickups to something better for a more clean and powerful sound. considering EMG-SAs or seymour duncan single coils... i'm not sure which will be better.

maybe the link below will help you consider better hehe. but no idea for cleans though but powerful yesh. but you always do the 18v/9v mod via a push pull pot or another switch for better cleans.

well it's personal decision i guess. just sharing my own experience. moreover i havent tried the timbre yet. but wat i meant is the pickups would lose their value when placed into any guitar, what more into a cheap guitar, unless of course u plan to remove them to sell individually.

my gibson pickup lost it's value even being brand new unopened in a sealed package.. :(
