Why all the hoohaa? Its just one guitarist. Its not him that dictates the quality of the guitar brand. He can even go to kapok for all I care. We should buy a guitar based on what we'd like and also the guitars's quality. Not because of a guitarist.

Not bashing Michael Amott, no doubts here that he is a good guitarist per se, but there are also plenty others who play just as well as him or better.

If one makes such a fuss on said subject, I wonder why no one makes the same type of fuss when Kerry King shifted from ESP to B.C. Rich or when Dave Mustaine shifted from Jackson to ESP to Dean.

Just keep on playing I'd say.....

thats y guitar company design signature models and make them available in the market..
its to target people like me, who make fuss over small issues.. who would also buy the guitar because i love the artist.
well.. i started this discussion because i wanted people to know he left.. seems like a few didn't know..

when endorsers part way with a certain brand name, it's not quite about bad people management, more of 'i still can't get what i want' issue at hand.
