I'm a fan of extreme metal music.Two bands that released some new album.Blackmetal pioneer Impiety just released "Dominator" under Pulverised Records. Damn i love the intro of the album. Genghkis Khan! Technical deathmetal band Nafrat also just released their album "Through Imminent Visions". Excellent songwriting and drum lines. Maybe the fastest and versatile pounder in Singapore. Gravity blast!

And Leviathan (USA) and Leviathan (Sweden) are goddamn good too.

Oh, lastly, Dark Funeral from Sweden. Amazing stuff.

I find myself going for Mastodon, Antestor and Behemoth. A lot of metalheads don't like the new Behemoth but I kinda like them more now, they seem to have added in a lot more influences outside blackened death metal.

And while you're at it, check out Origin. Easily one of the greatest death metal bands I've ever heard. Cannibal Corpse I feel they're a bit overrated, but only a bit because their early stuff up until the album 'Kill' was definitely kickass. Call me wierd, I also happen to like Morbid Angel's Heretic album.

And Testament's newest stuff. Biggest highlight for me because most of the old lineup is back (Greg Christian is back!) although I wish Louie Clemente would come back but... their new material is so damn cool. And of course, because Testament was the band that got me into metal so many years ago. :cool:
