METAL: Bands you've recently HEARD and would like to RECOMMEND

currently listening to alot of Cromok. Malaysian thrash/heavy metal. but most of the ones i like are instrumental. great guitar works with alot of asianess in it. melodic solos, i loik.

hmm maybe i will give them a try...just one question. do they sing in malay? cos if they do then i rather give it a miss

nope they sing in english. they started being popular in aussie because they were formed there while studying in a university(smart people eh?) then they came back to malaysia. give them a try.

I'm back after a very long abscence from SOFT.com.sg

Call me SLOW or whatever, but I'm slowly beginning to listen to Power Metal. MY! I never thought i would 'venture' into this genre... I find it very relaxing... And yes, there's something to argue if people were to ever criticise that metal is just shouting... well, this will prove them wrong.

Bands that I've enjoyed.
(and if those who were once like me, neglecting power metal, you should give a shot)

Well... I respect what InfernoxDeath comments. Everybody has a choice..... But when I listen to em... reminds me of those Victory Records days like Earth Crisis, Strife and Snapcase......

Yeah man... even if you don't like a certain genre or sub genre, you can't just make that kind of statement.

Unless you invented music.

Now that's a list of some real old school stuff.

Well imo genres are just words. They can never really define what a band truly is. It's the music and the musicians within the band that speaks for themselves.

Well Jackass43, I would like to recommend you to check out All Shall Perish's latest work, Awaken The Dreams. Cause in this effort, the music style goes beyond the confines of deathcore. And shows a maturity of the band. If you have the time, check it out.

emocore, metalcore, deathcore = gaycore

ahahahahahagagagagahh................only satanic war black metal and sicko depressive doooooom and violent low-end death are tr000!!!!!!!
