Yeah tats the topic.I'm pissed off.Why cause i mail M/B abt my amp technical questions and received very unsatisfied answers. The technician is name Michael Wolf.I think this guy is new.I never see his name in my mesa cataloq.I even mail him the 2nd time and he never reply.Explain 2 him clearly....I bought a such expensive amp and 2 make it worse i'm living in Singapore where there is no M/B dealer and service centre here to approach to.Is that silly?No..I believe mesa have excellent amp to deliver the musicians. But wheres the help?Same thing goes to VHT.Their 2/50/2 poweramp is unreliable and keeps the fuse burn. But great PA.(period)
Any of u guys know mesa tech email addr?

Maybe you should see if there is another mesa tech guy you can approach.

These things are very sensitive, maybe you have gotten off the wrong footing with him, that's why you are getting the cold shoulder.

To them, I think if they are to give any support to you, its from their own goodwill. Bcuz you are suppose to pester the local dealer, not them direct. What we call chain of command in the army. If the local dealer gives you the cold shoulder, then you tell the manufacturer, who may or may not take action. Very subjective.

If your product is out of warranty, then they are not obligated to even give a response.

If under warranty, then pester the local agent first.

Other then that, you can find 3rd party service center, like me. I can help you check out the problem.

That's why this is a major consideration when getting something exotic. A toyota vehicle major problem still easy to settle, but you get a mini give funny problem, then it could mean nightmare on end.

Mesa receives hundreds of emails everyday.

That was a reply I received a long time ago when I wrote in. They replied me 4 months after my email.

By then, I had given up on what I originally wanted to purchase.

However, that was my experience, .... I hope yours will be more pleasant.

Michael Wolf is pictured in the 2004 Mesa Catalogue and according to the blurb, has been 'a valued employee for years'.

Actually I had dealings with him when I was thinking of ordering an F-Series combo and he was very prompt in his response - 3 e-mails within 2 days, but then, they didn't have my money by then. Looks like the after sales isn't so good...

Give the Mesa guys a break la..they are really swamped with emails every single day..Be happy they even bother to reply you!
So far, I've never failed to get a response from them..usually takes a few days..received very nice catalogues from them as well since I explained there are no M/B dealers in Singapore..

In comparison, anyone managed to even get any response at all from Marshall? Fender? Peavey?!?!

I honestly think they have more enquires than technical requests.
But I find that the stock Mesa Tubes suck.
I changed mine 12A7s to JJ EC83 S and it's weeter now.

Actually i had the same "problem" with Mesa back in 1998-1999. My triaxis blew it's power supply unit and it's using 110V. I requested to buy a 220V but they (mesa) did'nt want to send it. A friend of mine recommended Mesa Hollywood store and I called them (there wasn't an email address back then  ). A guy responded (john tokarski) and settled my problem within 5/10 mins. I do not know whether he is still working there. U can try

Later on i found out that his name appeared in Dream Theater's Awake album

Break?i give them a kick in the ass!Where can give them a break. This not cheap amp i'm dealing with.Anyway thats their jobs.I dun give a shit how busy they are.I thought they r a class amp company with good after sales service worldwide.Anyway enough of that. Finally solve it.Aft searching my mail addr, finallyyyyyyyyy found the tech addr i used to approach to.Kevin Robertson.

Ahhh.... I think I see the problem now. With that tone and attitude, I wouldn't be surprise they give you the cold shoulder, I know I would.

I believe your expectation is too high. An product being expensive does not mean it will never fail. A cheap product does not mean its lousy.
When a product be it expensive or cheap fail, the after sale service also does not always mean you get better service for the expensive product then the cheap product.

It's up to the company policy. The saying that "the customer is alway right", is more a myth than reality.

Have you tried calling them? It's not that expensive to make an IDD call considering erm its not a cheap amp you're dealing with. If you want help, you gotta know how to get it - ranting and 'kicking' around isn't going to get you any.

Btw, maybe mesa boogies are considered "Rolls Royce" amps here due to the high US exchange rate etc but I don't think they are considered that high end amps in the US, unlike Diezel, Koch, Bogner etc. Just look at the 2nd hand prices of boogies on ebay..
